Who we are
QUIK is an iPhone app from Dreamward LLC. It helps you keep personal records of prepaid and store gift cards. This notice explains how information is handled in the app and on this website.
What stays on your iPhone
QUIK stores the information you enter or choose to save: card names, issuers or merchants, balances, dates, transactions, notes, barcodes, receipt images, or purchase-proof images. You may also choose to save full card numbers, security codes, or card PINs.
These app records are encrypted on your device. The app has no QUIK account, cloud synchronization, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, remote crash-reporting service, or remote photo recognition. Dreamward does not receive your card records through QUIK. The app does not sell or share those records with advertisers.
Camera, photos, and recognition
You can enter cards manually. If you choose photo entry or receipt capture, the app uses the camera or the images you select. Recognition runs on your iPhone. Review the extracted details before saving.
QUIK discards source card photos after card entry. Original images in Photos or Files remain there and may be synchronized or backed up by those services. Receipt and purchase-proof images are different: QUIK can retain them in encrypted storage when you choose to save them. Avoid putting private card codes in receipts, attachments, or general notes.
Card numbers, private codes, and barcodes
You can use QUIK without saving full numbers, security codes, or card PINs. Optional private details are separately protected with a QUIK PIN. App authentication does not replace that PIN. Revealed private details hide after 30 seconds, when leaving their view, or when the app goes to the background.
Original scanned or imported store codes are saved with your encrypted card records. A checkout code may itself allow use of a gift card; treat it as sensitive. To generate a barcode from a protected card number, QUIK requires a fresh PIN entry and a locally verified store format. The generated number-based barcode is temporary and is not saved as a second copy of the private number.
Security controls cannot prevent every form of access or loss. Screenshots, exposed codes, a compromised phone, or a person who knows your PIN can expose private information.
Retention, deletion, and device loss
App records remain on your device until you remove them. You can delete individual cards, attachments, saved private details, or all QUIK data. See your data choices for instructions.
The encryption key is tied to your device and does not migrate with an iPhone backup. Losing the device or reinstalling QUIK may make records unrecoverable. Dreamward cannot recover your vault or reset a PIN to reveal existing private details. Keep physical cards and proof of purchase separately.
Removing a record in QUIK does not delete copies in Photos, Files, screenshots, backups, or third-party services, and does not revoke a card with its issuer.
This website and external services
This website does not include marketing analytics, advertising trackers, a signup form, or a payment form. Its hosting provider processes connection information, such as IP addresses and request data, to deliver and protect the site. The website is hosted on Vercel, with the domain managed through Cloudflare. These providers operate under their own privacy policies.
Website hosting is separate from the app’s local storage. Card records are not uploaded to this website. External links open sites with their own privacy practices. QUIK does not add card credentials to issuer website or phone handoffs.
Support communications
If you contact Dreamward, the communication service and Dreamward receive what you send, such as your contact information and message. Never send a full card number, security code, card PIN, QUIK PIN, or an unredacted card image. Such communications are separate from your local QUIK vault.
For privacy or support questions, email support@quik.me. Support messages are used to respond to your request. You can use the same address to request deletion of support correspondence. Deleting app records is handled on your iPhone; see the help guide.
